Descendants of John Plympton

Generation One

1. John1 Plympton;; John Plympton of Dedham 1~42, probably came over some years before for Dr. Alcock, made Freeman May 10 1643. He moved after the "Great War" began. I suppose Deerfield was where he was injured. His son Jonathan was killed by Indians 18 Sept. 1685 at Bolldy Creek, and he was taken 2 years and 1 day after the death of Jonathan, by the Indians, carried towards Canada and killed, one report says by burning at the stake.
